Sign-in privacy

Effective October 11, 2026. Shared sign-in for Assertion Labs applications.

Who this notice covers

Assertion Labs LLC operates the shared authentication configuration used by its applications. You may see “Assertion Labs” when signing in to a product such as Parla or LotContext. This notice covers that sign-in process. Each product's privacy policy explains its own features and handling of product data; signing in does not grant access to every product.

Information used to sign you in

When you choose a supported identity provider, we receive an account identifier and the basic profile information the provider shares, which may include your name, email address, email verification status and profile picture. Apple may provide a private relay address. We use this information to create or identify your product account, authenticate you and maintain your session. Authentication records may include creation and last-sign-in times.

Basic Google sign-in requests identity, email and profile information. It does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, calendars or contacts. We do not receive your Google, Apple or Facebook password. A separate integration that requests additional access must explain it and present its own authorization request.

Processing and security

Google Firebase Authentication / Identity Platform processes account and session data for our shared sign-in service. Your chosen identity provider processes your login under its own privacy policy. Our application infrastructure uses authentication results to enforce access controls. Authentication services may process device, network and security metadata to protect accounts, diagnose failures and prevent abuse. Access is limited to service providers and authorized personnel who need it to operate or support the service, or disclosures required by law.

Retention and your choices

Account information is kept while needed to operate your account. You can request access, correction or deletion through the product's settings or support channel, or contact us below and identify the product. We may verify your identity before acting. Deletion follows the product's process; limited records may remain where needed for security, legal duties or backup recovery. This notice does not promise immediate deletion from every backup.

You can revoke the application's access in your identity provider's account settings. Revocation may prevent future sign-in; it does not itself delete your product account or data. Signing out ends that device's session but does not delete the account.

Read Parla's privacy policy or LotContext's privacy policy for product data, providers and deletion controls. Other products identify their policy within the application. The website privacy notice covers corporate website inquiries and analytics.

Contact and updates

Contact hello@assertionlabs.com with account questions or privacy requests. Include the product name, but never send your password, sign-in link or verification code. Updates to this page will show a revised effective date; material changes will be communicated through an appropriate product or account channel.
